What to do in Washington, DC

This year’s Summit takes place in the heart of downtown Washington, DC, at the JW Marriott Hotel. Just steps from the White House, Lincoln Memorial and the US Capitol, this location is ideal for exploring the city’s top attractions.

1. The National Mall and Memorials Park

This giant park is home to almost every major monument in DC, including the Washington Monument, U.S. Capitol Building and Lincoln Memorial.

 

2. National Museum of African American History

If you can get on the waitlist of this popular new museum, we definitely recommend it.

 

3. Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum

As the world’s largest collection of aviation and space artifacts, you may want to set aside a few hours for this one.

 

4. Historic Georgetown

This lively neighborhood has many great shops, restaurants, canals, bars and cafes to spend an afternoon in.

 

5. The White House

Plan a few months ahead for a free guided tour of The White House.

How is my registration confirmed?
After completing online registration, you will receive a confirmation email. There are no printed tickets; we will have your badge ready for you at the Summit. If you do not receive this email, please contact us at events@visioncritical.com.

 

Is there a special Summit hotel rate?
The official Summit hotel is the JW Marriott Washington, DC. To take advantage of our special pricing of $299 USD/night, book your room in the Vision Critical room block. This pricing is available to a limited number of rooms, so please book early.

 

Can I be invoiced for the Summit ticket fees?
We only accept credit card payment online. Please click this link to register and pay for your Summit ticket. For group tickets, we are only able to charge one credit card.

 

I’m no longer able to attend the Summit. Do you offer refunds or transfers?
We are unable to provide any refunds. We are able to accommodate transfers up to September 8, 2017. Please email events@visioncritical.com for transfer requests.

 

Can I still buy a ticket at Early Bird prices after the deadline?
We are unable to offer the Early Bird prices after August 1, 2017.

 

What should I wear? 
Attendees are invited to dress in business casual for the Summit.

 

When will online registration close? 
Online registration will close on September 17, 2017. All walk-ins will be required to pay full price ($899 USD) at the registration desk with their credit card.

 

How can I apply to speak at the Summit? 
The best way to apply to speak is to submit an application for the Visionary Awards.

 

May I bring my spouse to the evening party? 
We have limited space for our very popular evening event, which is a great opportunity for our attendees to network with each other in a casual setting. Only registered attendees with badges will be admitted.
